Rushpool Hall is one of North Yorkshire, UK's most popular wedding venues. Located near Saltburn-by-the-Sea, the manor offers exquisite Victorian architecture and stunning backdrops for almost any wedding photograph. Rushpool Hall was once a hotel well-known throughout the North East and Durham. Today, as a wedding venue, it offers everything a blushing bride could ever want. Being a Rushpool Hall wedding photographer, I would love to explore the grounds with you and look for places to make your wedding photos stand out.
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is David Conway, and I am an award-winning Rushpool Hall wedding photographer. Rushpool Hall has also won many awards as a wedding venue. As a North Yorkshire wedding photographer, it is one of my favourites regarding wedding photography. The manor house offers many breathtaking spaces that can be used on your wedding day to make all your dreams come true. The staff at the Hall has many years of experience and can guide you through the wedding planning process. They have a wealth of information you can use as you plan.
Rushpool Hall was built in 1863 and 1864 by John Bell. Although the structure is believed to have been designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott, the actual architect has not been confirmed. The property has a rich history and has had many famous visitors, including Winston Churchill and other members of Parliament. Over the years, minor renovations have been made to modernize the property. The result is a wedding venue that is reminiscent of a fairytale castle. A bride and groom can celebrate their special day with family and friends in a setting fit for a princess. As your wedding photographer, I will be there to capture all of the best moments.
Rushpool Hall Hotel weddings are what dreams are made of. A luxury wedding venue with a stunning Honeymoon suite, the Hall offers beautiful backdrops I can use as I walk through your wedding day capturing moments and telling your wedding story. As you begin your day, your bridal preparations will be the first photos on my list. After the ceremony, visiting the Undercroft nightclub will allow you to continue your festivities without leaving the property. All the while, I will continue documenting as much of your big day as possible.
If you would like to learn more about my Rushpool Hall wedding photography style, visit my Facebook page or my website. Read my blog. If you choose me to be your wedding photographer, rest assured your wedding album will be as unique and beautiful as you are. I do everything I can to ensure that your images not only tell your story but are as artistic as possible. With Rushpool Hall as my backdrop, your photos will be amazing!
I am David Conway, an award-winning West Yorkshire wedding photographer. I've been a wedding photographer for more than 14 years, and I take both relaxed, professional photos of the day's events and beautiful, modern photos of the couple. The bride and groom can spend time together and take unique photos. My style is natural and unposed, and I rarely tell people where to stand or how to pose themselves. This leads to beautiful, natural wedding photos.
I've won several prestigious awards from the Guild of Photographers for my work as a wedding photographer.
Guild Of Photographers Wedding Photographer of the Year Top Five 2019

1. What area do you cover?
I am based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, which gives me access to Greater Manchester, Cheshire, and large areas of Yorkshire. As a rule, I am happy to travel up to 60 miles to cover a wedding. Any further than this I would have to charge a travel fee.
2. How many photos will I get from our wedding photography?
Every wedding is different and the number of images you receive can be a reflection of what moments are there to be captured. On a normal wedding day I usually deliver between 600-800 images to your online gallery.
3. How long will it be before I receive my wedding gallery?
I know how keen my couples are to see and share some images from their wedding day, so with this in mind I always like to provide a selection of teaser shots a day or two after the wedding day. This would usually be around 20-30 images. I then aim to deliver the full collection of images on an online gallery within 6-8 weeks.
4. Can I share my images and buy prints and wall art?
From the online gallery my coupes will have access to the full selection of wedding images, but they will be subtly watermarked. From the gallery you would be able to order any prints or wall art directly through my professional printing service. You would be able to share the gallery to any friends and family, and they too, would be able to order any prints they may like as well. If you wanted the full collection of high resolution images to share and keep, my couples do have the option of ordering a USB. See more on my packages page here.
5. How long have you been Photographing Weddings?
Having been photographing weddings for the best part of 13 years, I am a highly experienced photographer. I have been lucky to work at some of the countries premium wedding venues and have one many awards, including the prestigious Guild Of Photographers Wedding Photographer of the Year for 2021.
6. Are you fully Insured?
Yes, I have insurance for all my equipment as well as £2M public liability insurance. I also have Drone insurance as well as the necessary drone qualifications to be legal and safe when flying at a wedding.
7. Will we have to pay extra for Drone Photos?
No. I see my drone as an essential piece of equipment on a wedding day, and so long as the weather allows it and it is safe to do so, I will use it on your wedding day to capture shots of the venue, your guests and it allows me to get creative when getting shots of my couples too.
8. How do I book in for a chat about my wedding?
Get in touch using my contact page here and we can arrange a chat, either in person at my home in Brockholes, Holmfirth, or we can arrange a Zoom call.
Part of the wedding planning process is booking the right photographer. I would love to get to know you. Call today to schedule an appointment so we can sit down and learn a little about one another. Send an email if you prefer! The sooner I meet you, the more time I will have to create an idea of photos you would like to capture during your ceremony, reception and evening party.
