From a self contained bridal prep area, to a stunning glass roofed and red bricked walled ceremony room to the most spectacular gardens and scenery, this is a truly exclusive wedding venue.
Foxtail Barns is a new venue with adjoining lodges that allow the entire wedding party to stay on the grounds. Although the wedding venue has only been open for a short period of time, the team of wedding planners has over ten years of experience that you can rely on to make your wedding day one you will remember for the rest of your life.
My name is David Conway. I am a well-known Foxtail Barns wedding photographer who will work diligently to ensure your special day is a success. I blend documentary and contemporary styles of photography, to create beautiful wedding photographs that you will cherish for the rest of your life. From the confetti toss to the final moonlit images that end your celebration, every image is a part of your love story.
I look forward to capturing the first images of you wearing your wedding dress. Your wedding will be the best day of your life. As you sit down to your wedding breakfast, I will be there to capture those moments as you begin to settle into the events of the day. As the videographer captures your first dance in the party barn, I will be immortalizing the images of the parents as they watch their children embark on a new and exciting adventure.
Close to Staffordshire and Consall, Foxtail Barns brings old-style traditions into the 21st century. The venue was designed and built for weddings and other ceremonies. Its red brick walls, distressed woodwork, and wrought-iron details give it a perfect atmosphere and character for wedding photography. It offers the modern-day equivalent of the beautiful barns of long ago.
Cheshire has many of the most popular wedding venues in England. You have many styles and types of venues to choose from.
Foxtail Barns wedding venue opened its doors in the summer of 2021. Designed to be a modern wedding venue, it was built with all the most popular amenities. Beautiful oak beams paired with industrial characteristics create a one-of-a-kind wedding venue, ideal for any bride's modern-day fairy tale. Old and new are brought together in such a way, it's hard to tell what era you are in.
Form and function are beautifully balanced with a dream team of wedding planners who understand what it takes to make your big day successfully. Foxtail Barns wedding photography allows for an opportunity to combine rigid industrial architecture with the softer touches of wooden beams and beautiful floral arrangements and decor. Foxtail Barns is one of many barn wedding venues in the area. It is also one of the most popular throughout the country.
Foxtail Barns can seat 150 guests. Couples have access to a beautiful night suite for their honeymoon. The venue offers exclusive use, allowing you to roam the grounds. The natural beauty of the area surrounding the barn adds to the fairy tale atmosphere. The Tawny Hotel, Pendrell Hall, and Consall Hall are nearby. Foxtail Barns joins the Ashes Barns wedding venue and the Mill Barns wedding venues as featured facilities in the West Midlands area.
When you are ready to tie the knot, you can have your wedding in the beautiful courtyard or the rustic ceremony space inside the barn. Bridesmaids and groomsmen can walk through the walled garden, sharing quiet time with the bride and groom. As an exclusive use venue, bridal prep can take place in one of the lodges. Make Your Day Special
Your wedding day should be as special and unique as you are! By choosing me as your Cheshire wedding photographer, it is my task to capture as many precious moments during your day as possible. I look for the real moments. The moments that you least expect. From the single cameos to the larger group shots, I look for your truth and the love you share.
To ensure that all your memories of the day are safe, you will receive a Bespoke wedding album from Italy designed just for you. In addition to the online gallery, I can also include a USB flash drive that contains all of your special moments from your wedding day.
1. What area do you cover?
I am based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, which gives me access to Greater Manchester, Cheshire, and large areas of Yorkshire. As a rule, I am happy to travel up to 60 miles to cover a wedding. Any further than this I would have to charge a travel fee.
2. How many photos will I get from our wedding photography?
Every wedding is different and the number of images you receive can be a reflection of what moments are there to be captured. On a normal wedding day I usually deliver between 600-800 images to your online gallery.
3. How long will it be before I receive my wedding gallery?
I know how keen my couples are to see and share some images from their wedding day, so with this in mind I always like to provide a selection of teaser shots a day or two after the wedding day. This would usually be around 20-30 images. I then aim to deliver the full collection of images on an online gallery within 6-8 weeks.
4. Can I share my images and buy prints and wall art?
From the online gallery my coupes will have access to the full selection of wedding images, but they will be subtly watermarked. From the gallery you would be able to order any prints or wall art directly through my professional printing service. You would be able to share the gallery to any friends and family, and they too, would be able to order any prints they may like as well. If you wanted the full collection of high resolution images to share and keep, my couples do have the option of ordering a USB. See more on my packages page here.
5. How long have you been Photographing Weddings?
Having been photographing weddings for the best part of 13 years, I am a highly experienced photographer. I have been lucky to work at some of the countries premium wedding venues and have one many awards, including the prestigious Guild Of Photographers Wedding Photographer of the Year for 2021.
6. Are you fully Insured?
Yes, I have insurance for all my equipment as well as £2M public liability insurance. I also have Drone insurance as well as the necessary drone qualifications to be legal and safe when flying at a wedding.
7. Will we have to pay extra for Drone Photos?
No. I see my drone as an essential piece of equipment on a wedding day, and so long as the weather allows it and it is safe to do so, I will use it on your wedding day to capture shots of the venue, your guests and it allows me to get creative when getting shots of my couples too.
8. How do I book in for a chat about my wedding?
Get in touch using my contact page here and we can arrange a chat, either in person at my home in Brockholes, Holmfirth, or we can arrange a Zoom call.
Part of the wedding planning process is booking the right photographer. I would love to get to know you. Call today to schedule an appointment so we can sit down and learn a little about one another. Send an email if you prefer! The sooner I meet you, the more time I will have to create an idea of photos you would like to capture during your ceremony, reception and evening party.
