Hello! I'm David Conway, and I Would Be Honoured to Be Your Foxtail Barns Wedding Photographer! Located amongst the exclusive Tawny Hotel, this exclusive wedding venue offers everything a couple need for the best day of their lives. From a self contained bridal prep area, to a stunning glass roofed and red bricked walled ceremony room to the most spectacular gardens and scenery, this is a truly exclusive wedding venue.
Foxtail Barns is a new venue with adjoining lodges that allow the entire wedding party to stay on the grounds. Although the wedding venue has only been open for a short period of time, the team of wedding planners has over ten years of experience that you can rely on to make your wedding day one you will remember for the rest of your life.
My name is David Conway. I am a well-known Foxtail Barns wedding photographer who will work diligently to ensure your special day is a success. I blend documentary and contemporary styles of photography, to create beautiful wedding photographs that you will cherish for the rest of your life. From the confetti toss to the final moonlit images that end your celebration, every image is a part of your love story.
I look forward to capturing the first images of you wearing your wedding dress. Your wedding will be the best day of your life. As you sit down to your wedding breakfast, I will be there to capture those moments as you begin to settle into the events of the day. As the videographer captures your first dance in the party barn, I will be immortalizing the images of the parents as they watch their children embark on a new and exciting adventure.

1. What area do you cover?
I am based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, which gives me access to Greater Manchester, Cheshire, and large areas of Yorkshire. As a rule, I am happy to travel up to 60 miles to cover a wedding. Any further than this I would have to charge a travel fee.
2. How many photos will I get from our wedding photography?
Every wedding is different and the number of images you receive can be a reflection of what moments are there to be captured. On a normal wedding day I usually deliver between 600-800 images to your online gallery.
3. How long will it be before I receive my wedding gallery?
I know how keen my couples are to see and share some images from their wedding day, so with this in mind I always like to provide a selection of teaser shots a day or two after the wedding day. This would usually be around 20-30 images. I then aim to deliver the full collection of images on an online gallery within 6-8 weeks.
4. Can I share my images and buy prints and wall art?
From the online gallery my coupes will have access to the full selection of wedding images, but they will be subtly watermarked. From the gallery you would be able to order any prints or wall art directly through my professional printing service. You would be able to share the gallery to any friends and family, and they too, would be able to order any prints they may like as well. If you wanted the full collection of high resolution images to share and keep, my couples do have the option of ordering a USB. See more on my packages page here.
5. How long have you been Photographing Weddings?
Having been photographing weddings for the best part of 13 years, I am a highly experienced photographer. I have been lucky to work at some of the countries premium wedding venues and have one many awards, including the prestigious Guild Of Photographers Wedding Photographer of the Year for 2021.
6. Are you fully Insured?
Yes, I have insurance for all my equipment as well as £2M public liability insurance. I also have Drone insurance as well as the necessary drone qualifications to be legal and safe when flying at a wedding.
7. Will we have to pay extra for Drone Photos?
No. I see my drone as an essential piece of equipment on a wedding day, and so long as the weather allows it and it is safe to do so, I will use it on your wedding day to capture shots of the venue, your guests and it allows me to get creative when getting shots of my couples too.
8. How do I book in for a chat about my wedding?
Get in touch using my contact page here and we can arrange a chat, either in person at my home in Brockholes, Holmfirth, or we can arrange a Zoom call.
Part of the wedding planning process is booking the right photographer. I would love to get to know you. Call today to schedule an appointment so we can sit down and learn a little about one another. Send an email if you prefer! The sooner I meet you, the more time I will have to create an idea of photos you would like to capture during your ceremony, reception and evening party.
