When you want the best Hawkstone Hall wedding photographer, you want one who is both accomplished and creative. My name is David Conway, and I am well-known throughout the area for my documentary-style photography. The Hawkstone Hall wedding venue is one of my favourites in Shropshire. It has many unique areas ideal for wedding photographs. The gorgeous gilded ceilings and sweeping staircases make for timeless photographs inside, while the scenic views of the rolling countryside offer the most amazing outdoor shots. As a Grade I listed wedding venue, Hawkstone Hall offers everything a bride and groom could ever want.
Built in 1701, Hawkstone Hall is one of the most stunning wedding venues in the area. Located in Shropshire, there are nature walks, a championship golf course, and a shooting range nearby. The hall has had many owners and was even home to a religious order at one time. In 2017, the hall transitioned into one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the area. As you learn more about its unique history, you realize why the stunning manner home has captured the hearts of so many as a wedding venue. If you have chosen to spend your wedding day at the hall, your wedding plans may include a few well-deserved spa services.
Summer weddings are breathtaking at Hawkstone Hall. You can have your wedding ceremony outside in one of the gardens or inside the chapel. The restaurant staff will be busy preparing your wedding breakfast while you and your bridesmaids finish your final preparations. When all your wedding guests have said their final goodbyes, you can retreat to the bridal suite and relax after a fun and eventful day. As your wedding photographer, I will be quietly following you throughout your day, catching glimpses of smiles and hints of awe as you take your first steps as a married couple.
My Hawkstone Hall wedding photography style is relaxed and documentary in nature. Photographs speak volumes when it comes to capturing the emotions held within a moment of time. Every photo I take will be used in your wedding album to tell your love story. I offer many wedding packages that you can choose from. Every couple is unique and wants specific photos. I will capture all of the ones on your list as well as many more that will be candid and posed. Your wedding album will be filled with your most cherished memories.
I'm an award winning wedding photographer who has won awards. My name is David Conway. I've been a wedding photographer for more than 14 years, taking photos that show the day's events in a natural and interesting way. The bride and groom may take different pictures together. I rarely tell people where to stand or how to pose themselves, and my style is natural and unposed. As a result, your wedding photos will be stunning and natural.

1. What area do you cover?
I am based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, which gives me access to Greater Manchester, Cheshire, and large areas of Yorkshire. As a rule, I am happy to travel up to 60 miles to cover a wedding. Any further than this I would have to charge a travel fee.
2. How many photos will I get from our wedding photography?
Every wedding is different and the number of images you receive can be a reflection of what moments are there to be captured. On a normal wedding day I usually deliver between 600-800 images to your online gallery.
3. How long will it be before I receive my wedding gallery?
I know how keen my couples are to see and share some images from their wedding day, so with this in mind I always like to provide a selection of teaser shots a day or two after the wedding day. This would usually be around 20-30 images. I then aim to deliver the full collection of images on an online gallery within 6-8 weeks.
4. Can I share my images and buy prints and wall art?
From the online gallery my coupes will have access to the full selection of wedding images, but they will be subtly watermarked. From the gallery you would be able to order any prints or wall art directly through my professional printing service. You would be able to share the gallery to any friends and family, and they too, would be able to order any prints they may like as well. If you wanted the full collection of high resolution images to share and keep, my couples do have the option of ordering a USB. See more on my packages page here.
5. How long have you been Photographing Weddings?
Having been photographing weddings for the best part of 13 years, I am a highly experienced photographer. I have been lucky to work at some of the countries premium wedding venues and have one many awards, including the prestigious Guild Of Photographers Wedding Photographer of the Year for 2021.
6. Are you fully Insured?
Yes, I have insurance for all my equipment as well as £2M public liability insurance. I also have Drone insurance as well as the necessary drone qualifications to be legal and safe when flying at a wedding.
7. Will we have to pay extra for Drone Photos?
No. I see my drone as an essential piece of equipment on a wedding day, and so long as the weather allows it and it is safe to do so, I will use it on your wedding day to capture shots of the venue, your guests and it allows me to get creative when getting shots of my couples too.
8. How do I book in for a chat about my wedding?
Get in touch using my contact page here and we can arrange a chat, either in person at my home in Brockholes, Holmfirth, or we can arrange a Zoom call.
Part of the wedding planning process is booking the right photographer. I would love to get to know you. Call today to schedule an appointment so we can sit down and learn a little about one another.
