The Swinton Park Hotel is part of a much larger estate that offers almost anything you could, imagine if you are planning a wedding. If you are looking for the best North Yorkshire wedding photographer, you have come to the right place. My name is David Conway. I am a highly recommended Swinton Park wedding photographer. I know the Swinton Park Hotel and much of the surrounding estate. The professional team at the hotel has many years of experience helping couples plan weddings and other celebrations.
As a stunning wedding venue, Swinton Park Hotel makes my job easy! It is the perfect place for wedding photographs. With over 200 acres of parkland and lavish gardens, the estate has many backdrops ideal for your wedding photographs. You can have your wedding ceremony in the drawing room or one of the gardens. With the Yorkshire Dales as a backdrop, your wedding album will be full of cherished memories with your family and friends. Your big day will be one to remember!
Swinton Castle is the ancestral seat of the Earl of Swinton. It sits close to towns like Masham and Ripon, making it easy if you have last-minute shopping that needs to be completed. The same family has owned Swinton Castle since 1880. The Cunliffe-Lister family enjoy knowing the estate is a popular choice for couples looking for the perfect venue for their wedding day. The estate has beautiful gardens, a Bivouac area, and a guest spa. The history and traditions of the estate can be witnessed throughout the property. Portraits of family and artwork from the area add to the country home's unique charm.
Couples who choose to be married at the estate are guaranteed to have all the finest amenities. The luxury hotel offers spa services, a swimming pool, and a gym area. The bride and groom can also access luxury accommodations if they stay at the hotel after their big day. As a Swinton Park wedding photographer, it will be my job to capture as many of your precious moments as I can. Wedding photography is my passion, and I use all the tools I can to create your wedding album. I even have a drone for overhead shots.
I offer several Swinton Park wedding photography packages for you to choose from. When you call to schedule your appointment, we will talk about your expectations. We will also go over the different areas of the Swinton Estate that you may want to use for your wedding photographs. The professional wedding planning team at the estate can offer suggestions you may want to consider. I can't wait to begin working with you! As a well-known Swinton Park wedding photographer, I look forward to capturing your photos at this iconic location!
I am David Conway, an award-winning West Yorkshire wedding photographer. I've been a wedding photographer for more than 14 years, and I take both relaxed, professional photos of the day's events and beautiful, modern photos of the couple. The bride and groom can spend time together and take unique pictures. My style is natural and unposed, and I rarely tell people where to stand or how to pose themselves. This leads to beautiful, natural wedding photos.
I've won several prestigious awards from the Guild of Photographers for my work as a wedding photographer.
1. What area do you cover?
I am based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, which gives me access to Greater Manchester, Cheshire, and large areas of Yorkshire. As a rule, I am happy to travel up to 60 miles to cover a wedding. Any further than this I would have to charge a travel fee.
2. How many photos will I get from our wedding photography?
Every wedding is different and the number of images you receive can be a reflection of what moments are there to be captured. On a normal wedding day I usually deliver between 600-800 images to your online gallery.
3. How long will it be before I receive my wedding gallery?
I know how keen my couples are to see and share some images from their wedding day, so with this in mind I always like to provide a selection of teaser shots a day or two after the wedding day. This would usually be around 20-30 images. I then aim to deliver the full collection of images on an online gallery within 6-8 weeks.
4. Can I share my images and buy prints and wall art?
From the online gallery my coupes will have access to the full selection of wedding images, but they will be subtly watermarked. From the gallery you would be able to order any prints or wall art directly through my professional printing service. You would be able to share the gallery to any friends and family, and they too, would be able to order any prints they may like as well. If you wanted the full collection of high resolution images to share and keep, my couples do have the option of ordering a USB. See more on my packages page here.
5. How long have you been Photographing Weddings?
Having been photographing weddings for the best part of 13 years, I am a highly experienced photographer. I have been lucky to work at some of the countries premium wedding venues and have one many awards, including the prestigious Guild Of Photographers Wedding Photographer of the Year for 2021.
6. Are you fully Insured?
Yes, I have insurance for all my equipment as well as £2M public liability insurance. I also have Drone insurance as well as the necessary drone qualifications to be legal and safe when flying at a wedding.
7. Will we have to pay extra for Drone Photos?
No. I see my drone as an essential piece of equipment on a wedding day, and so long as the weather allows it and it is safe to do so, I will use it on your wedding day to capture shots of the venue, your guests and it allows me to get creative when getting shots of my couples too.
8. How do I book in for a chat about my wedding?
Get in touch using my contact page here and we can arrange a chat, either in person at my home in Brockholes, Holmfirth, or we can arrange a Zoom call.
Part of the wedding planning process is booking the right photographer. I would love to get to know you. Call today to schedule an appointment so we can sit down and learn a little about one another. Send an email if you prefer! The sooner I meet you, the more time I will have to create an idea of photos you would like to capture during your ceremony, reception and evening party.
